Reusing jewellery

Turn old, outdated or inherited jewellery into a piece you’ll love — keeping its story, and its sentimental value.

Reusing jewellery is one of the most sustainable ways to make something new — it needs no newly mined metal, and it lets a family heirloom live on in a piece you'll actually wear.

Which metals reuse best?

Some metals recycle better than others. Before we design anything, we assess what you have and recommend the right approach.

PlatinumExcellent for reuse
PalladiumExcellent for reuse
Yellow goldExcellent for reuse
Rose goldExcellent for reuse
White goldCan be prone to cracking — often combined with new metal

What about my stones?

Gemstones need to be examined before we can tell whether they can be reused — we check each stone for chips, wear and suitability for a new setting. Sometimes new material is added to bring old and new together in one design.

How it works

  • Bring your pieces in for a free assessment
  • We discuss ideas and show you a 3D design
  • You approve the design and quote
  • We melt, cast, set and finish your new piece by hand
